Der Quellcode ist offen

Dieser Eintrag ist nur auf Englisch verfügbar.

The repository is public. TILL is MIT licensed, and the ledger, the Swiss compliance code, the MCP server and the Studio are all readable and runnable from the repository. The repository itself was created, still empty, on 29 August; today the first snapshot of the source went in.

The earlier entries here ended on a promise: the source opens when the ledger is real. It is worth being exact about what real turned out to mean, because it does not mean finished. The core keeps a double-entry ledger, posts append-only with corrections as reversing entries, carries a KMU chart of accounts, renders a QR-Rechnung with the structured address, and prepares the MWST return at 8.1, 3.8 and 2.6 percent. That is enough to read the code and follow the money path, and enough to run against a test workspace. It is not enough to keep your real books, and the site still says pre-alpha because that is still true.

So the source opens now, at pre-alpha, instead of at some later point we would have called done. Building the rest in the open is worth more than a private run-up to a version one.

What is not in the public repository: the specifications, the planning log and the marketing site. The specs stay private for now, tillbooks.ch stays the canonical site, and this log stays with it.

Correction, 28.10.2026: an earlier version of this entry was dated 29 August, the day the empty repository was created, and said the documentation had moved to docs.tillbooks.ch. The source went in on 9 September, and docs.tillbooks.ch is not live yet: the documentation is written and waits for its host.
